When Did Here We Go Again by Demi Lovato Come Out
Here We Go Once more is the second studio album by American recording artist Demi Lovato, released on July 21, 2009, through Hollywood Records. Unlike their previous effort, Don't Forget (2008), Lovato did not enlist help from the Jonas Brothers as they wanted to piece of work with different people and give the album a personal approach.

The majority of the album was produced by John Fields, who helped production on Don't Forget. The song was later passed on to their third studio anthology, Unbroken (2011).
Musically, Here We Go Again derives mainly from the genres of popular-stone and power pop, mixed with influences of R&B and synthpop. The critical reception of the album was positive; critics praised Lovato for not relying on vocal manipulations and instead of showing off their natural ability.

The writing began during filming of Camp Rock in 2007 and continued on the band'due south Look Me in the Optics Bout in 2008.[2] [3] Lovato wanted to establish theirself as a musician with the anthology, and not beingness known as simply "the girl from Camp Rock."[two] They said that their goal was to have fun on the album and that they would tackle deeper themes on their sophomore effort.[4]
The anthology was released in September 2008 and debuted at number two on the Billboard 200 chart.[5] Lovato recalled the experience, "It was like, O.K., you've done it. Y'all're no longer just succeeding because you're in a motion picture with the Jonas Brothers. These people bought your music for yous."[i] Later in February 2009, Lovato's showtime headlining sitcom, Sonny with a Chance, premiered on Disney Channel.[1] Don't Forget was certified Golden by the Wikipedia:Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)[6] and spawned three singles, "Get Dorsum", "La La Land", and its title track "Don't Forget".[1] In January 2009, Lovato announced to MTV News that they had already begun writing songs for their 2nd studio album, as well as revealing its approach: "It's going to take a different audio, so hopefully it goes over well. I sing a lot of stone, but this time I want to do more John Mayer-ish type of songs. Hopefully I tin can write with people like him. I love their music — it would be astonishing."[7]

According to Lovato, the album's writing procedure was nearly finished in just ii weeks, noting that they "basically went from total-fourth dimension acting mode to full-fourth dimension album mode". Equally they wanted to reach more "John Mayer-ish type of songs", they contacted Mayer's management in order to collaborate with him, citing him as one of their biggest musical influences. Mayer accepted the offer, of which Lovato said, "I was completely shocked [that he said yes]. Information technology was more of a pipe dream. I didn't always recall it would be a reality, but it came true. He was taking a chance on working with a younger artist in the pop realm." The ii wrote 3 songs together, "World of Chances", "Love Is the Answer" and "Close Up and Love Me". In an interview with Women's Wear Daily, they explained: "When I took a step dorsum, I realized I wouldn't like those subjects beingness talked well-nigh in somebody else'southward home, with a 7-year-onetime and their mom." Several other "emotional" songs were likewise put on hold. "For the Beloved of a Girl" was later revealed to announced on Lovato's third studio anthology, Unbroken, released in September 2011 when Lovato had left Disney Channel.
